About Us

Sangamon County Farm Bureau was formed on December 20, 1918 providing the first collective voice for farmers in the area. Over the years the office has been located on three different properties including its current location at 2631 Beechler Court, Springfield, Illinois.

Today, Sangamon County Farm Bureau has nearly 10,000 members that reap benefit from the organization. They do so by becoming involved in the many activities offered to improve the profits of farmers and better the quality of life for all rural residents. They also gain value by taking advantage of the benefits and services that are offered.
