The purpose of the Sangamon County Farm Bureau Governmental Affairs Committee is to establish a close working relationship with elected officials in order to monitor past, current, and future legislation for the benefit of our membership.
Women's Committee
To promote interest in the Women's Committee to members of the Farm Bureau. To provide educational programs and services to Farm Bureau members. To provide a vehicle through which Farm Bureau women work and develop leadership skills. To provide a setting of fellowship and friendliness among committee members. To promote the interest of Agriculture in the community.
Member & Public Relations Committee
This Committee's objective is to further the image and mission of Farm Bureau with the public in general and with the member in particular. To this purpose we commit the knowledge, energy, and resources of the Committee in total and its members individually.
Young Leaders Committee
Farm Bureau Young Leaders are the leaders of tomorrow, not only in Farm Bureau, but also in agriculture as a whole. Development of leadership abilities is a continuous process achieved through exposure to programs and problems and the opportunity to participate in the challenges as they are presented.
